Prevention Mother to Child Transmission Program

Health is the priority that human beings care about.
When the moms and dads come regularly to collect milk formula each month, the HOPE nurse checks on their health and reviews any hygiene guidelines. The senior nurse informed the parents about Cervical Cancer because there are some cases in Battambang. This concern was clearly explained to the moms and dads and was very informative. One parent shared the story of her visit to the Health Post Centre for a checkup for Cervical Cancer, and she felt good to know that it was not take a long to do and it free for everybody and feel safe when she knew that she has no Cervical Cancer. She encouraged another parent to go to the Health Post Centre to check because it is very important for their health. The nurse also convinces them to go to the Health Post to get their medication regularly on time.
HOPE has a very good relationship with the Battambang Department of Health to support poor families in the Community. Thank you, Senior Nurse, for always being a very important support to the HOPE Community Centre.
