October was a hectic month for the HOPE Community Centre to welcome our VIP guests. Mr Grahame Lewis, the Chairperson of the Australian Board, and Mr Peter Butler, Advisor of HOPE came in early October to visit staff and prepare for the HIRO RIDER event in the third week of October. They both went for home visits with the Social Worker to present the new house built at Chheu Teal Commune, supported by Mr. Peter Butler, and also visited the house built at Sompov Loun district supported by Mrs. and Mr Andrew and Tony Noble.
On October 22, Mrs Jenny, Deputy Chair, and Mr John Kinsella, Co-Founder of HOPE arrived with some friends. They are both accompanied by Mr. Grahame, Mr. Peter, and Mr Sothoeurn, HfCCF’s Director to see all programs at HOPE Community Centre and visit the Management building that just renovated and the rear land and the Early Learning Childcare and Education (preschool) classes. Mr. John left the next day and Mrs Jenny stayed until the HIRO RIDE finished.
