Health Education at HfCCF
This month, during the regular milk formula distribution at the Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation (HfCCF), we were honoured to welcome a senior nurse from the Battambang Department of Health.
The nurse provided parents with clear, practical guidance on: HIV transmission from mother to child, Correct use of ARV medicine, and the importance of at least four medical check-ups during pregnancy
Parents engaged actively, asking questions and gaining confidence in how to protect their own health and their babies’ future.
In addition, HfCCF nurses and social workers conducted home visits to ensure: Mothers are taking ARV medicine regularly, Health and hygiene standards are maintained, living environments support the well-being of both mother and child
Through these combined efforts, HfCCF continues to strengthen community health and empower families with knowledge and support.
