Helping poor and vulnerable families in the community is the HOPE Community Centre’s mission.
The Social Worker went to the community to do the family assessment for the family that had requested help from the Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC) and the local authority to the HOPE Community Centre under the Community Assistance Program. Some family needs a house to live in, some family needs emergency support from HOPE, and some families do not fit the HOPE Community Centre criteria.
During the assessment, HOPE always included the CCWC and authority to join with the social worker to process the assessment documents.
