At the end of July, HOPE Community Centre held a training session on dengue fever presented by HOPE’s Nurse, Mr Khen, to the Early Learning Childcare and Education kids and their parents.
The number of cases of dengue fever has been rising in Cambodia during the rainy season. Dengue is transmitted through the Aedes mosquito.
The parent now know how dengue fever is transmitted, how to prevent getting it from the mosquito, how to clean up around the house, and how to open the windows to let the sun light get into the house.
