In late 2024, HOPE encouraged and decided to repair a house for a staff member, Mr. Sin Sokhom, who has been working in the HOPE Community Centre for many years, in our Community Assistance Program in Boeung Ampil Village, Sdao Commune, Ratanak Mondul District, Battambang Province, to repair a house to make it better, safer to live and of great benefit to his children, whose family is struggling and lacks the funds to repair the house properly. The condition of his house is dilapidated, with rotten walls and a leaky roof, making it difficult to live in and unsafe for his two children, who are girls, especially during the rainy season.

The renovation of this house is truly beautiful, under the leadership of the HOPE director and staff, working together with all their strength, no matter how tired they were, they worked hard until the house was completed in a day. Mr. Sokhom and his family were joyful after seeing their house renovated and given to them for their family use. They also expressed their gratitude to the Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation (HfCCF) for making their dream come true. Especially, a safe house for the family to live in from now until the future.

At the end of the renovation project, the house was sponsored by Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation (HfCCF) and additional contributions from HfCCF staff, both physically and materially, as well as neighbors and local authorities. They were very happy that the Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation (HfCCF) could help people in their community.
