Recently, HOPE built two new houses for the vulnerable families in our community under the Community Assistance Program. One house was built in Sankat Sla Ket and another house was built at Bannan district.
The house at Sankat Sla Ket was built by the owner of the house and with the help of HOPE’s staff at the end of the project. The owner worked very hard to build his own house. He and his family dreamt of having a safe house to live before but now his dream has come true with the support of HOPE. They were very pleased and thanked Hope for Cambodian Children Foundation (HfCCF) for making their dream come true.
The house at Bannan was built by HOPE, Kunteu 1 Commune and NGO partner (M’lup Russey). Kunteu 1 Commune contributed a small parcel of land and NGO partner contributed a small amount of money for the tin. One grandmother and three granddaughters will live in this house. She was very pleased to receive this support from HOPE and our partners.
This project was completed by HOPE’s staff, Mr THY Sothoeurn, HfCCF’s Director and the family members. Everyone worked very hard to complete the project.
At the end of the project, the offering day was attended by Mr Peter Butler, the In-Country Director, Mr PUTH Try, Mr THY Sothoeurn, Welfare staff and the local authorities. They were very happy that HOPE was able to help people in their community.
Thank you so much to Kunteu 1 Commune and NGO partner for giving their support to HOPE’s programs.
