We were honoured to welcome one of our dedicated board members, Mrs Sokunthy Selby-Brown from Australia, to the HOPE Community Centre. During her visit, she made a meaningful impact by connecting with families, empowering educators, and sharing her resilience journey.
Supporting Families, she conducted home visits with four families, listening to their stories and offering encouragement. With warmth and empathy, she shared her experiences, illustrating how she overcame challenges, inspiring hope in those she met.
Empowering Educators, she worked alongside our teachers, leading engaging training sessions with fun activities designed to enhance English lessons and promote inclusive education. Her energy and expertise helped strengthen the learning environment, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
